Overview:
Pregabalin 300mg is a medication used to treat nerve-related pain, epilepsy, and anxiety disorders. It works by reducing abnormal nerve signals in the brain and spinal cord, helping to relieve pain, prevent seizures, and ease generalized anxiety. Pregabalin belongs to the class of antiepileptic and neuropathic pain medications.

Uses:

Neuropathic Pain: Helps relieve pain caused by nerve damage, such as diabetic neuropathy or postherpetic neuralgia.

Epilepsy: Used as an adjunct therapy for partial-onset seizures.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD): Helps reduce symptoms of persistent anxiety.

Fibromyalgia: May be used to manage chronic pain associated with fibromyalgia.

Dosage:

Typical adult dose: 150mg–300mg per day, divided into 2–3 doses.

Can be increased up to a maximum of 600mg per day depending on response and tolerability.

Tablets should be swallowed whole, with or without food, as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

Dizziness, drowsiness, or fatigue

Weight gain or increased appetite

Blurred vision or coordination problems

Rare: swelling, difficulty breathing, or severe allergic reactions
